Mortuary Matters

Leon H. Vendig, a well-known business man of Dallas, died at his room at 6:15 o'clock yesterday morning. Bilious fever was the cause of his death.

The deceased was 38 years old and was born in Memphis, Tenn. He came to Dallas about twelve years ago and embarked in business and soon gained a state-wide reputation as the manager of the Dallas base ball team in the Texas league circuit. He returned two weeks ago from the east, where he went to attend the funeral of his mother. The remains will be sent to Philadelphia and laid by the side of his mother.
