HERNDON/PRESTON Am looking for any info on this couple. What I have is this: taken from book titled Kentucky Marriages 1797-1865 by G. Glenn Clift and reprinted by Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc. 1974. On page 73 it states Frazer D. HERNDON to Miss Mary, daughter of Francis PRESTON, all of Fayette Co. M Dec 11, 1832. O 12/20 (O 12/20 meaning Lexington Observer and 12/20 the date it appears in newspaper.) Would like someone to try and find the article and any other marriage documents, license, bond, etc. Need to find dates/places of birth and all parents. Will gladly pay for your efforts. I'm looking for information on William WYLIE (WILLIE, WILLEY, WILEY, WILIE, and other ways to spell it!), son of Thomas WYLIE, born in Chester Co, SC, who migrated to TN and appears in Fayette Co by 1850. (Other siblings went to Shelby Co when Thomas died.) William is a gg-uncle, and I'd be delighted to find cousins, or information about his children other than names from the census records. And if I could find out more about Thomas and anything at all about William's mother, I'd be jumping up and down excited! And I'm more than happy to provide the info I have for those who might be interested! Su I'd rather be looking for dead people than have them looking for me!

Spencer P. DANIEL/DANIELS born about 1824 in Alabama married Celia Ann RICE 8 Jan. 1845 in Fayette County, Tennessee. Celia was born about 1831 in Tennessee. Her mother's name was probably Rebecca. Spencer and Celia migrated to Titus County, Texas in the early 1850s. Does anyone have information on the DANIELS and RICE families that lived in Fayette County, Tennessee about 1824. Any help you may be able to give would be appreciated.

Update on William WYLIE. Have found more info. William m. Martha N???? and was in Fayette Co around 1840. His children were William L., Elizabeth, John Frank, Thomas Lewis, Martha M.M., and Harriet. They married into the following families: SHINAULT, IRBY, MOYE, CLARK, and WRIGHT. I have info on Wm L. and Sarah SHINAULT, and John Frank and Bunah Vista IRBY's children. Will share, and would *love* to have more!

Looking for data on RICKETTS, REESE connection. In 1860 Samuel & John REESE were living with Robert N. RICKETTS in Fayette Co. "Cousin" R. Levy (or Livie) RICKETTS lived with Samuel REESE in Ellis Co., Tx. ca. 1890. Suspect he may have been the Livingston RICKETTS listed in the 1870 Fayette Co. census; Samuel Livingston REESE, my ancestors, appears to have been his "cousin". It's possible that Samuel REESE's sister Susan REESE married a Mr. RICKETTS & was the mother of R.L. RICKETTS. Samuel, John & Susan REESE were children of Absalom M. REESE, of Marshall Co., Mississippi. Will exchange information. Bill Page
