I'm searching for the marriage record for Austin/Augustine WILLIS andArilla
DYCHE (DYKE) ON 15 Dec 1837. This information is from boththe "Willises of
Virginia" by Maud Potter and the "Gideon Macon ofVirginia"
genealogy. It gives no sources nor locations. I havetraced the Willis family to
this county by 1830s. Any help will begreatly appreciated!!

Looking for info. on my GGG Grandfather John YARBROUGH, born around1825 in North
Carolina. Married Caroline BUFORD, born late 1830's,probably in Fayette County.
They lived in Tipton County and had atleast 12 children. Jim, Alice, Dave,
Johnny, Winnie, Orange, Andy,Priscilla, Zack, William, and two other's that I

JeffersonianRepublican, called to ratify United States Constitution for
NorthCarolina, owned plantation and approxiametely 40,000 acres in SumnerCounty,
Tennessee, Wilson County, Tennessee named in his honor. Mybranch of his family
later moved to northeastern Henderson County,Tennessee and persisted their as

I am looking for info on my g-gf, James "Jim" M. MORGAN, who lived
inthe Fayette, Co.(town of Moscow) Tennessee area circa 1872-1915. Heappeared to
move around frequently between Fayette Co. and theMarshall/Benton Co.,
Mississippi areas. James was born in GA in 1847.He married Mary BROCK in
Hamilton Co TN in 1870 and then moved toabove areas 1872-1875. James MORGAN and
Mary BROCK MORGAN hadchildren: William, John, Cordelia, Jim Lee (my
grandfather), andAmbrose. Mary BROCK MORGAN evidently died between 1885-1890 as
JamesM. married Lily Florence FARMER in 1890 and had more children. JamesM.
MORGAN is buried in Rice Chapel (also known as Blackjack)cemeteryon
Marshall/Benton Co line. I would like any info on James M. MORGANor parents of
his wife, Mary BROCK (GA census info shows her parentsto be John and Sarah BROCK
from SC). I would also like to know causeof death of Mary BROCK and burial
location (supposedly nearMoscow,Tenn). History of Rice Chapel would also

I am desperatly seeking any info on the following people. They werein Madison
County in 1920 and are buried at Liberty Cemetery. Atleast some of them are.
Does anyone have a book for that cemetery?VIRGIL BAKER was born in 1910 ether in
Fayette or Madison county anddied Jan. 28, 1956. He is buried at Liberty
Cemetery in MadisonCounty alongside his wife IRA GEORGIA MILLER. She died Jan.
11, 1976.Virgils parents were JAMES PINKNEY BAKER born Nov. 3, 1872 in
FayetteCounty and died May 19, 1953 in Madison County. His wife was WILLIE
HALLIE RINER born Nov. 11, 1885 and died Nov. 16, 1969 and is buried at Liberty
Cemetery in Madison County. I know that James Pinkneysfather was JAMES FRANKLIN
BAKER but his death cert. says mother unknown. If anyone could help me with
obits or any other info on these families I would greatly appreciate it. Please
