I'm doing a fellow researcher, Robert JOYNER, a favor as his computer was stolen
and he has yet to replace it.
His ancestor was William Ansel JOYNER/JOINER b. 1806 d. 1871 who was married to
Hallies MACKEY. Their first child was Margaret C. JOYNER/JOINER who married
Hiram M. ASHFORD. He says that Margaret was mentioned in a history of Fayette
County. Would you have any info that I could pass on to him. Apparently this
Margaret has been a "brick wall" for a LONG time
Thanks

I am looking for information on the family of A.J. ADAMS and VIRGINIA L. ADAMS
living in LaGrange, TN during the 1870 census. His occupation is listed as
druggist/physician and having 3 children-MARY LEE-9 YRS; ORA T.-4 yrs.; HORACE
W.-2 yrs. I was told A.J. ADAMS was a surgeon in the Civil War. I do not know
what A.J. stands for nor do I know Virginia's maiden name. A.J. and VIRGINIA
were both born in TN, but for some reason were in Tippah County, Salem, MS for
the 1860 census. Any help would be appreciated. Bonnie Dwyer, P.O. Box 162,
Bakerstown, PA 15007. bonniewm@nauticom.net

Josiah Baucum died in Fayette County Tennessee in 1864. He resided with or near
a son, Daniel Baucum. Are there any known records of the names of his other
children? Or records of land transactions concerning his move to Fayette Co.
Tennessee from Wake County, NC.
