married John Robinet MCGINNIS in 1863 and died in 1900in Memphis, TN. Any info

I am the great great granddaughter of Bitte Glover of Fayette
County,Lexington,Kentucky. I was told by my great aunt also of
Lexington,Kentucky (Carrie Jones Smith Sterling)her daughter, that she was afull-blooded
Cherokee Indian who attended Berea College and studiednursing there. If there is
any one who can help me to verify this, Iwould certainly appreciate your

was William Jonesalso of Lexington, KY. William was also of Native
Americandescent--his Indian name according to Aunt Carrie was "Old Lucky

clarification on previous query. Elizabeth b 5 Jul 1823 d 19 July1896 buried at
Mt Moriah Cem Fayette Co. (do not know her last name)married Elijah Sanders b
1819 d abt April 1847 Fayette Co., TN--theyhad 4 children James Henry b 1837 d
1859; John W b 1840 d 1866: MaryAnn b 1843, Silas H b 1845 died abt 1865. James
Henry m 1859 MahalaAnn Evans b 1840 who's father was John Henry Evans b 1791 SC
d 1866Fayette Co TN (no info on mother). Mahala had a brother John Jr b1831 and
Catherine b 1841--there may have been more but this was allon the 1850 census. I
have a will on John Henry Evans. If anyonehas any info on what Elizabeth Sanders
madien name could be or JohnHenry Evans Sr's wife was i would appreciate....When
ElizabethSanders m L.S. Hailey--i have never found out what L.S. stands for
hedied 28 Dec 1915 and is burried in the same cem as Elizabeth--severalof their

1850 census Eliza had remarried and is living withnew husband and they have his
and her children. The library theredid some research for me and found that there

i am looking for one of my ancestors, JOSEPH CROUCH. his son , ELICROUCH,
married MALISSA SCOTT in 1871. JOSEPH'S family is listed inthe 1870 census for
fayette county. i cannot find a marriage recordon them, but hope you can help. i
cannot find JOSEPH in any othercensus records past 1870. i do know that JOSEPH
died sometime before1913, but i don't know where. do you have any information?
ELI wasborn 1849 in nc, so he would have been about 21 years old at the timeof
