ATKINSON/PULLIAM Lookin for info on Martha ATKINSON b.c.1826 married to Clem
PULLIAM in 1852 Hardeman Co., TN. Is she the same Martha ATKINSON that is a
daughter of Richard D. ATKINSON of Hardeman Co., TN who left a will Sept. 1844?
The will named his wife, Elizabeth (b. about 1809). Elizabeth remarried to
William S. DAUGHARTY Jan. 1846. By 1870 this family moved to Fayette Co., TN.
Other children of this Richard D. ATKINSON are Mary E., Benj. F., John, Nancy,
William, Lucinda, Thomas J. and Sarah b.1843. Children of Martha ATKINSON and
Clem PULLIAM: John P., Sarah E., Samuel, Lizza, Silas, Richard, Clem, and
Thomas. Would appreciate any info in reguard to any of these families.

I am looking for ancestors of Josiah Willians born in Somerville, Fayette
County, Tennessee in 1839. He married Indiana Stafford also of Tennesee in the
1850's or 1860's Josiah died in1875 and Indiana died in 1930. They had 7
children, 4 girls and 3 boys. I would appreciate any help that anyone can give
me. I think Josiah's father was John W. Williams and came from South Carolina.

SMITH - Researching Clark L. SMITH Sr. and wife Mary G. (SURNAME UNKNOWN).
They are listed on the 1850 Census in Fayette Co. TN with the following
children; John, William, Clark L. Jr., James, Martha & Francis(male). Clark
Sr. was born 1818 in KY, died 1854 in Fayette Co. TN. Mary was born 1818 in TN,
died 1866 in Fayette Co. TN. They are buried in the Liberty Baptist Church
Cemetery near Somerville, Fayette Co. TN. Who were the parents & siblings of
this couple? Thank you for any help provided.

My 3 greats grandmother, Elizabeth Catherine RUSSELL was born in Fayette
County (I think) in 1829. I believe she was the daughter of Capt. Wm. RUSSELL
& Lydia BEAN...but haven't been able to find sufficient proof. Can someone
help me with this?

MORRIS - seeking info on Simion Morris and his wife Elvira THOMASON. Fayette
Co in 1860 with 4 children (son N. Lucy, James and Wiliam). Moved to McNairy
County TN in 1870 and have 6 children (James Newton, William, Ada, Franklin,
Mary, and John). Am descended through William R. Morris, believed to be their
son.

Looking for the parents of ELIZABETH JONES who married JACOB ORMAN in
Fayette County about 1836..moved to Tippah County, Mississippi...He died about
1902 and she supposedly moved back to Fayette County..had at least one son
Samuel Houston who lived in Benton County, Mississippi..

Looking for descendants of Edmunds and Sally Henderson Rivers. They came to
Fayette Co. in the 1820's and had four children: Minerva who married Phineas
Thomas Scruggs, Elizabeth who married William M. Morgan, Richard Henderson
Rivers who was at one time a Methodist minister and Thomas, married first to
Mary Ann Trigg and had daughter Mary A. T. "Molly", second married
Elizabeth Dickson (no children) and third married Mary Lucette Dillard. Thomas
and Lucette had three children (Fannie Hunt Rivers, Richard Henderson Rivers and
Joel Pulliam Rivers who died in 1886. Thomas died in 1863 and his widow later
married Edwin Dickinson.

Seeking obituary of Lavenia (Vanie, Venia) Chappel (Chappell), moved to Fayette
Co, TN around 1865 and died in 1892 and buried in the Sardis- Chappell cemetery
3 miles from Somerville. Willing to pay any and all costs involved, hopefully
this will list some of her children. Do not know if there would have been a will

I am looking for information on Laura Marcelles THURMAN. I do not know where
she was born,but her birthdate is 9-13-1851. I have conflicting information as
to her parents. My mother told me her parents are William THURMAN and Hannah
GRAHAM, but the local LDS Church has her parents as George Mills THURMAN and
Louisa GRAHAM. She married Peter A. WRENN in Fayette County, Tn, 11-30-1871. I
do not know if they lived here very long. They moved to Craighead County, AR
where their children were born. I have more information on their decendents. Ila

1805 TN (son of DANIEL ALLEN and ALETHEA HALE) and his wife PERMELIA JANE BROWN
b 1812 TN. They lived in Fayette Co., TN in the early 1800s. Their children
were: WILEY B. b 1829; HIRAM J. b 1831; JETHRO M. b 1834; EDMOND T. b 1836; JOHN
D. JR. b 1838; RICHARD b 1840; SARAH b 1842; EMILY and AGNES (twins) b 1845; and
PERMELIA O. b 1853. The family moved to Clark Co., AR by 1860. Would love to

1838. Resided in Hardeman and Fayette Co.'s during the 1850-1870 time period.
Their Children were: Frances b.1837, Elisha b.1839, Thomas W. b.1843, W.D.(m)
b.1845, John b.1847, Emily b.1848, Tilmon P. b.1849, Tandy b.1853, Sam b.1855,
Lucy b. 1857, Richard b.1858, Davie b.1860. Maranda PULLIAM DAVIS was the
daughter of Silas PULLIAM and Sarah MORGAN. My main interest is when and where
did Maranda PULLIAM DAVIS die? Where is she buried?

1850 census index of Fayette Co TN? Listed with him was Mary, age 24; John S.,
age 2 and Charles E., age 6/12. Does M. C. ABERNATHY have any connection to the
ABERNATHYs in Lawrence County, TN? Any help will be appreciated; thanks.
